Cushman tapped for 200,000 s/f corporate exclusive in W'chester.


Commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield announced its appointment as exclusive leasing agent for Saxon Saxon

Any member of a Germanic people who lived along the Baltic coast in ancient times and later migrated west as far as the British Isles. The Saxons became pirates in the North Sea during the decline of the Roman empire, and in the early 5th century they spread through

Ownership is also planning to add new entryways and building signage to the property as well as an outdoor seating area.

Cushman & Wakefield's Glenn Walsh, senior director, Gregory Frisoli, director, Larry Ruggieri, associate director and Tom Pierandri, associate; serve as the leasing team representing property ownership. Cushman & Wakefield also handled the recent sale of the property, which was sold to Celestial Capital for $32.8 million.

"We expect that the renovations and repositioning of Saxon Woods will significantly boost leasing and bring this property to full occupancy," said Mr. Walsh.

Saxon Woods Corporate Center, a two-building office complex situated on 15.28 acres, is currently 91.5% leased to 48 tenants. The property, which includes a roster of primarily small to mid-sized tenants, is located adjacent to the Hutchinson River Parkway The Hutchinson River Parkway (also known as The Hutch) is an 18.78 mile (0 km) long parkway in downstate New York.  (Merritt Parkway ) and is easily accessible from I-95. The buildings that make up Saxon Woods were constructed in 1969 and 1971 and are each five stories high. Building 600 includes 125,793 square feet and building 550 includes 111,132 square feet.

Mr. Walsh added, "Westchester County is witnessing an increase in leasing activity particularly from small to medium sized tenants," said Mr. Walsh.

"Saxon Woods Corporate Center is ideally suited for tenants with space requirements in this range."

Additional properties owned by Celestial Capital include 118 North Bedford Road in Mt. Kisco, Two Overhill Road in Scarsdale, and a shopping center shopping center, a concentration of retail, service, and entertainment enterprises designed to serve the surrounding region. The modern shopping center differs from its antecedents—bazaars and marketplaces—in that the shops are usually amalgamated into  on Rte. 6 in Mohegan Lake. In Connecticut the company owns 777 Commerce Drive and 1375 Kings Highway East in Fairfield.
