Cushman & Wakefield announces promotions.

Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. has announced the promotion of several members of its professional team at the company's Midtown and Downtown Manhattan offices. Jonathan L. Buchman, Christopher R. Krantz, Duncan M. McCuaig and Darilynne O. Saunders have been named associate directors, and Nicholas J. Savage has been promoted to the position of assistant director.

Jonathan L. Buchman: Buchman joined Cushman & Wakefield's Midtown office in 1996. He has represented such tenants as AT&T, Beth Israel Medical Center/Continuum Health Partners, Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner LLP, Lucent Technologies, New York State Insurance Fund and Sprint. Acting as the marketing agent for The Rockefeller Group Development Corporation's Rockefeller Plaza West, he was involved in the joint venture with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter & Co. which leased 1 million square feet at the property. In 2000, Buchman was Cushman & Wakefield's top producing broker in the New York metro area and was named among the firm's top 100 brokers nationally.

Christopher R. Krantz: Krantz joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1998 as a commercial leasing specialist in its Downtown office. Among his most noteworthy transactions, he represented Gruntal & Co. in a 60,000 SF sublease at One Liberty Plaza, as well as in more than 40,000 SF of leases nationwide; The Paramount Group in leases in excess of 100,000 SF at 45 Broadway Atrium; and Orient Overseas Associates, leasing in excess of 100,000 SF at Wall Street Plaza.

Duncan M. McCuaig: McCuaig, who joined Cushman and Wakefield's Midtown office in 1998, has more than five years of commercial real estate experience. Among his clients are Dow Jones & Company, Thomson Financial, The Dime Savings Bank of New York, Factiva and FileNet Corporation. McCuaig was part of the brokerage team that leased 294,000 SF on behalf of Thomson Financial at 195 Broadway; leased 92,000 SF on behalf of Dow Jones at Harborside Financial Center in Jersey City and 1.4 million SF for i.park in Lake Success, N.Y.

Darilynne O. Saunders: Saunders joined Cushman & Wakefield's Midtown office in 1990. In 1995, she entered the firm's Career Development Program as a salesperson in the Brokerage Division. She has represented such tenants as Harvard Business School Publishing Corporation, Kern Capital Management, The Health Information Network and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Saunders was part of the brokerage team that represented Zapco 1500 Investment LLP in leases in excess of 100,000 SF at 1500 Broadway and 200,000 SF at the Muss Development Corporation at the Brooklyn Renaissance Plaza.

Promotion to Assistant Director:

Nicholas J. Savage: With more than 13 years of real estate experience, Savage joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1995. A member of the firm's Strategic Agency Services Group in its Midtown office, he represents owners in Manhattan, Connecticut and New Jersey, coordinating property management and leasing team activity. Prior to this, Savage held positions as a broker where he played an important role servicing the real estate needs of a variety of Cushman & Wakefield's corporate and institutional clients, as well as a senior financial analyst in the Financial Consulting Group. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
