Cushman & Wakefield: Donald M. Preate.


Cushman & Wakefield announced the promotion of Donald M. Preate to executive director. He was previously a senior director and is one of the youngest Cushman & Wakefield professionals to ever attain this title.

A leading brokerage professional based in Cushman & Wakefield's Midtown Manhattan office for more than 12 years, Preate has formulated and executed comprehensive real estate strategies for some of the world's leading companies and organizations, both domestically and internationally. This year, Preate represented Digitas Inc. and VF Sportswear, Inc. in two of the ten largest leases completed in Manhattan during the first half of 2006. He and his partner, Frank Coco, were the only Manhattan brokerage professionals to appear twice on the top ten list.

In the past 24 months alone, Preate has negotiated on behalf of his clients approximately one million square feet of lease transactions in Manhattan.
