Curtiss-Wright agrees to clean-up deal in Fairfield.

. Several environmental issues impacted the site, but Curtiss-Wright complied with all the requirements and was able to complete the sale of the property. The company will retain the responsibility to continue environmental remediation Generally, remediation means providing a remedy, so environmental remediation deals with the removal of pollution or contaminants from environmental media such as soil, groundwater, sediment, or surface water for the general protection of human health and the environment or from a  efforts on the property, which is currently anticipated to last from three to five years.

 Products, Inc., a manufacturer of engineered mounting solutions, has leased the property from CRG 300, LLC.
