Curtis roars away with British title; MOTOCROSS.MOTOCROSS speedster speed·ster n. 1. One who drives very fast. 2. A fast car. Curtis Blamey is celebrating after becoming a British champion. The 12-year-old Tonyrefail Comprehensive schoolboy raced his way to victory at the BFMA BFMA Business Forms Management Association BFMA Battlefield Functional Mission Area BFMA Battle Force Maintenance Activity BFMA Business/Financial Management Analyst (British Final Motocross) championships in Swindon. The small wheel rider took up the sport four years ago and hasn't looked back since. He was presented with the 65cc class Abergavenny Auto Club Championship trophy three years ago, and is now enjoying equal success in the 85cc class. She added: "He just loves riding at the moment and we are very proud. "He went to watch the super cross when he was eight and just said he wanted to start, he had never even had a bike before then. "Within a couple of years he had qualified for super cross. "He loves riding and practises a couple of times a week now." Curtis, from Llantrisant, rides for the Severn Valley club and is now hoping to build on his success at the BFMA Nationals in Gloucester in two weeks time, in which he currently lies second.
