Cheery young Birmingham scouts are gearing up for their annual gang show.

, aged between six and 25, will present an evening of music, song, dance, comedy and drama next month.

They are busy in rehearsals ready for the extravaganza at the Dovehouse Theatre, Langley School Langley School can refer to:

, Olton from Monday, February 13 to Saturday, February 18.

The annual East Birmingham Gang Show features scouts, cubs and beavers from 17 packs from covering Castle Bromwich, Stechford, Sheldon and Yardley.

Although the packs have been collectively renamed the Spitfire Scout District A Scout District is an administrative division within some Scouting and Guiding organisations.

Districts are responsible for providing programme and support for local Scout and Guide groups, although the precise relationship and structure of a District does vary from country
, the gang show has retained the old East Birmingham title. Spokesman Paul Broadbent said: "We preserved the name East Birmingham Gang Show as it has national recognition given to those gangs show which set a standard and are a credit to the scout association."
