I FIND myself in agreement with your columnist columnist, the writer of an essay appearing regularly in a newspaper or periodical, usually under a constant heading. Although originally humorous, the column in many cases has supplanted the editorial for authoritative opinions on world problems.  Rob Davies Rob Davies (born March 24, 1987) is a Welsh footballer. He played most recently for the Football League Championship side West Bromwich Albion F.C.. Prior to that, he played for Wrexham A.F.C., and signed for Albion in the 2003-04 season.  on the subject of the clocks going back.

 ridiculous to keep shifting the clocks around twice a year.

By clocks, I don't mean the time zones themselves, but the physical clocks in the house.

It's a real pain to have to keep changing them backwards and forwards every few months. Some of them aren't in a very accessible place.

This year, one clock ended up in bits on the floor after it refused to get back on its perch in protest at having its fingers forcibly forc·i·ble

I don't mind which time zone we end up with, so long as we stick with it throughout the year.

When will we realise that there just aren't enough hours in the day and shifting the clocks around twice a year may solve one set of problems only to replace them with others? Here's a suggestion. I'm stuck on who to vote for at the next General Election as it's difficult to spot much difference in the policies of each of the main parties.
