Currie is ready for title heat.

LOUGHGALL boss, Niall Currie, remains honest in regards to his side's performances to date, but also remains confident that they will only get better.

There have certainly been no major disasters at Lakeview Park Lakeview Park is a multi-use stadium in Loughgall, Northern Ireland. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Loughgall F.C.. The stadium holds 3,000. As the name suggests, Lakaview Park is adjacent to a lake.  this season as the Villagers remain involved in a very tight battle at the top of the table and on Saturday moved into the last four of the Bob Radcliffe Cup.

A Paul McDowell brace was added to by Alan Murphy, inset, and the Villagers ran out 3-1 winners over Championship 2 side Killymoon Rangers.

While boss Currie is keen to see his men reach the high standard he has set, he also recognises they are involved in a results driven business.

"I've said it before that we haven't been at our best so far this season, there's no doubt about that," Currie said.

"However, we were looking at Saturday as an opportunity to get into the semi-finals of a competition which has been very good to us over the last few years.

"We are now into those semi-finals and are a point behind the league leaders so, as I pointed out to the players, it's certainly not all doom and gloom doom and gloom

"There isn't a lot of point in performing well if you're going to lose, but Killymoon put up a good fight and I'm glad to get through.

"I'm looking forward to resuming the league and, to be honest, I don't feel any pressure in the league.

"There are a lot of teams beating each other and on any given Saturday Any Given Saturday (foaled January 29, 2004 in Kentucky) is an American Thoroughbred racehorse.
