Curriculum Advantage Releases South Carolina and Alabama Editions of Classworks Correlated to State Standards; Personalized Learning Plans Help Raise Assessment Scores.

COLUMBIA, S.C. & MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Curriculum Advantage, Inc. announced today that it has released Classworks State Editions for South Carolina and Alabama correlated to their state learning standards and that includes import utilities designed to offer students immediate instruction based on assessments.

These newest state editions are part of the Curriculum Advantage development plan to customize Classworks so that state editions more closely meet individual curriculum requirements. Classworks, which is a network-based system of K-12 language arts and mathematics curriculum and learning tools, has been used successfully as a remediation program to help students throughout the country increase their assessment scores.

The Classworks State Editions for South Carolina and Alabama are further aligned with each state's standards and each state's high stakes test objective -- giving teachers confidence they may use the program to address individual learner needs and that their efforts will have a direct impact on assessment performance. Furthermore, with the Classworks Universal Import, teachers may target specific skills needing remediation because they can import each student's state assessment scores into the program to generate individual learning plans.

Classworks State Editions are further aligned to the learning standards of 22 states so that teachers can more closely tie their teaching to the core concepts and competencies prescribed by their state. Additional Classworks Import Versions are available for Texas, Florida, Mississippi, Georgia, and New York as well as an Alternet Import Edition for the state of Pennsylvania. Scantron Performance Series(TM) and Edusoft(R) data can also be seamlessly imported into Classworks.
