With the Georgia-specific version of Classworks (www.curriculumadvantage.com), a teacher can import CRCT scores with one simple step and immediately see an individualized list of activities for each student that addresses their specific areas of weakness. The Classworks library includes 8,600 learning activities from dozens of favorite educational software programs, all of which are correlated with Georgia Quality Core Curriculum (QCC QCC Queensborough Community College (New York)

) standards and National Education Standards in math and language arts.

Classworks is also specifically aligned with the five key components of reading instruction: phonemic awareness Phonemic Awareness is a subset of phonological awareness in which listeners are able to distinguish phonemes, the smallest units of sound that can differentiate meaning. For example, a listener with phonemic awareness can break the word "Cat" into three separate phonemes: /k/, /a/, , phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension, as defined by the National Institute for Literacy and the Partnership for Reading. This alignment ensures that Classworks is an effective curriculum and remediation resource to address guidelines of the Reading First Initiative and the No Child Left Behind Act The No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (Public Law 107-110), commonly known as NCLB (IPA: /ˈnɪkəlbiː/), is a United States federal law that was passed in the House of Representatives on May 23, 2001  which focus on early literacy. An independent review with the Consumer's Guide to Evaluating a Core Reading Program Grades K-3: A Critical Elements Analysis further ensures that Classworks is a Reading First Solution meeting Georgia's Quality Core Curriculum standards.

"Classworks is designed to help students who are struggling to meet minimum proficiencies and it shows great potential for helping students improve their reading and mathematics skills," said Jim Puckett, executive director of the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL Gael

). "With the CRCT Import and a Georgia-specific edition correlated to our Quality Core Curriculum, teachers will be able to use Classworks to give exacting remediation work designed to help students improve their skills and subsequently, their performance on the next CRCT."

"We are very pleased to release this Georgia edition of Classworks with the CRCT Import which is so closely aligned with Georgia education goals," said Mr. Lindsey Cook, president of Curriculum Advantage. "Georgia teachers can now use Classworks to efficiently differentiate learning for each of their students, knowing that the individualized learning path will maximize each student's chance to do their very best on the next CRCT."

Classworks continues to gain ground in many states. In September 2003, the Florida School Boards Association selected Classworks as one of the premier curriculum library and remediation tools of choice for the Florida elementary and middle schools. An import utility for Florida was also launched in September and a Texas-specific edition with import features has been in use since 1999. An Ohio-specific edition was also released during 2003. In addition to the GAEL endorsement of Classworks for Georgia schools, the Illinois Association of School Administrators selected Classworks as a remediation tool of choice for Illinois schools in 1999.
