Curriculum Advantage, Inc. announced today the release of a new import utility for Classworks -- a network-based system of K-12 language arts and mathematics curriculum and learning tools created from 180 different software products -- that seamlessly imports Georgia Criterion-Referenced Competency Tests (CRCT) scores directly into the Classworks learning system and immediately prescribes individualized learning paths to help students improve their scores.

With the Georgia-specific version of Classworks (www.curriculumadvantage.com), a teacher can import CRCT scores with one simple step and immediately see an individualized list of activities for each student that addresses their specific areas of weakness. The Classworks library includes 8,600 learning activities from dozens of favorite educational software programs, all of which are correlated with Georgia Quality Core Curriculum (QCC) standards and National Education Standards in math and language arts.

Classworks is also specifically aligned with the five key components of reading instruction: phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension, as defined by the National Institute for Literacy and the Partnership for Reading. This alignment ensures that Classworks is an effective curriculum and remediation resource to address guidelines of the Reading First Initiative and the No Child Left Behind Act which focus on early literacy. An independent review with the Consumer's Guide to Evaluating a Core Reading Program Grades K-3: A Critical Elements Analysis further ensures that Classworks is a Reading First Solution meeting Georgia's Quality Core Curriculum standards.
