Rigid/Bus stiffeners add mechanical stability to printed circuit boards during the assembly process, preventing board warpage. The single-layer stiffeners also provide ground bussing while two-layer stiffeners offer both ground and voltage bussing, thereby eliminating the need for heavy board traces. Both single and two-layer parts are rated UL-94-VO.
