Curran International Expands Coatings Technologies in New Licensing Agreement with Saekaphen GmbH.

Adds Material Technologies to Improve Operating Efficiencies for Chemicals, Energy HVAC (Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning) In the home or small office with a handful of computers, HVAC is more for human comfort than the machines. In large datacenters, a humidity-free room with a steady, cool temperature is essential for the trouble-free  and Shipping Industry Clients

HOUSTON -- Curran International, Inc., a leading coatings application provider serving the global power, petrochemicals, HVAC and shipping industries, today announced it has signed a licensing agreement with German-based Saekaphen GmbH, to offer Saekaphen[R] coatings products for tubing used in heat-transfer equipment throughout refineries, pipelines and vessels. The agreement adds to Curran's range of materials technologies for corrosion protection and maintenance of immersion immersion /im·mer·sion/ (i-mer´zhun)

Protective thin-film coatings treat the steel tube bundles for higher resistance to corrosion, fouling and other common bottlenecks. This dramatically reduces the need for routine maintenance and cleanings, positively impacting operational efficiency. The use of thin-film linings has saved refinery clients millions of dollars annually in lost opportunity and maintenance costs by improving the performance of fixed equipment running cooling water.
