Curlin on track for Woodward; INTERNATIONAL.

CURLIN worked seven furlongs over the main track at Saratoga on Monday, going the distance in 1min 24.84sec in preparation for the Grade 1 Woodward Stakes there on Saturday week. He galloped out the mile in 1min 37.80sec, writes Dan Farley.

Asmussen also sent out Pyro, his runner in Saturday's Grade 1 Travers Stakes at Saratoga, for an easy four-furlong spin, which was completed in 52.28sec.

THE Todd Pletcher-trained Harlem Rocker has been installed 7-2 favourite by Coral for Saturday's Travers Stakes.

Harlem Rocker is coming into the race off a victory in the Prince of Wales Stakes The Prince of Wales Stakes is a Grade I stakes race for Thoroughbred race horses first run in 1929. In 1959, the Prince of Wales Stakes became the marquis event at the Fort Erie Race Track when it became the second race in the Canadian Triple Crown for three-year-old colts and  at Fort Erie last month.
