Curl Corporation Names Industry Veteran Donald Davis Corporate Security Architect.

Davis brings more than 12 years of network security and cryptography experience to Curl. He served as a security consultant for Wall Street financial institutions and high technology corporations for ten years. Davis worked on Kerberos, a network authentication protocol designed to provide strong authentication for client/server applications by using secret-key cryptography, for the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's (M.I.T.) Dr. Robert H. Halstead, Jr.

Dr. Robert H. Halstead, Jr., a Curl co-founder and corporate architect, has spent 20 years researching programming languages and parallel computation in both academic and industrial settings. During nine years as a faculty member at M.I.T. he developed the "futures" programming-language construct and implemented it in the parallel programming language Multilisp. Halstead continued his work as a member of the technical staff and a consulting engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation's Cambridge Research Lab.
