Today Curl(TM) Corporation Vice President of Sales and Marketing Robert L. Batty will discuss the company's strategy, market opportunity and business model at the World Internet Center Weekly Pub Talk at the Stanford Barn in Palo Alto.

Curl was founded by business leaders and MIT MIT - Massachusetts Institute of Technology  luminaries including World Wide Web creator Tim Berners-Lee (person) Tim Berners-Lee - The man who invented the World-Wide Web while working at the Center for European Particle Research (CERN). Now Director of the World-Wide Web Consortium.

Tim Berners-Lee graduated from the Queen's College at Oxford University, England, 1976.
 and Dr. Michael L. Dertouzos, Director of the MIT Lab for Computer Science.

Mr. Batty will outline the importance of next-generation Web application development and deployment for business, e-commerce and entertainment. He will discuss how organizations can reap tremendous financial benefits by harnessing the power of client-side computing computing - computer , reducing the size and volume of downloads and integrating the fragmented frag·ment
