Curious Labs Launches `Poser Pro Pack'; Advanced New Features, Production Enhancements and Third Party Application Plug-ins Bring 3D Characters to the Web.

Curious Labs, Inc. announces today it has begun shipping Poser(R) Pro Pack, a set of essential tools and plug-ins that expand the functionality of Poser 4, the premier 3D character animation and figure design tool. Pro Pack enhances Poser 4's production capabilities with new export options, 3D integration solutions, new features and content, and improved workflow for the creation of custom figures. These changes allow professional users to easily create 3D characters for the Web, print, film and video.

With Pro Pack's professional-level capabilities, Poser users can now do the following:

- Host Poser 4 scene files in Newtek's LightWave(TM) and Discreet's 3D Studio
MAX(R), including animated 3D characters with the plug-ins included;

- Add animated character content created in Poser to Web sites and other
interactive projects by exporting Viewpoint Experience Technology for 3D and
Macromedia Flash(TM) for 2D. All new characters and animations are Web-ready,
allowing users to export content immediately;

- Create custom figures quickly with Pro Pack's Figure Set-Up Room making it
easy to create bones and build body parts from any 3D geometry data.

Additional new features include 2D-Motion Blur, Multi-view Panes, Python scripting support, and new compressed library files that save valuable hard disc space.

Sold separately, Poser Pro Pack costs U.S. $149 and is available to owners of versions 4 through 4.0.3 of Poser. All Pro Pack customers using versions 1, 2 and 3 of Poser will need to upgrade to version 4.0.3, additionally priced at U.S. $99. Pro Pack is available for both Windows and MacOS.

Poser 4 is an extremely popular tool for 3D-character animation, known for its extensive libraries of ready-to-use 3D characters and easy-to-use interface. Curious Labs released its latest version, Poser 4.03, last summer at a cost of U.S. $219.
