Curative Names New Chief Administrative Officer And Executive Vice President.

Curative Health Services, Inc., (Nasdaq: CURE), today addition of two new senior management positions as part of overall organizational changes to further strengthen the Company's two business units - Specialty Healthcare Services and Specialty Pharmacy Services.

David Lawson joins Curative as Chief Administrative Officer and Steve Michurski joins as Executive Vice President. Both men bring extensive experience from Minnesota-based healthcare firms.

Lawson will be responsible for leading the development and integration of administration and technology for both business units. Michurski will oversee business development with responsibility for expanding wound management programs and services and growing the specialty pharmacy business.

Lawson brings 22 years of technology and operations experience to Curative. He was recently chief information officer for ValueRx where he was responsible for the overhaul of the pharmacy claim processing, mail order pharmacy, data warehousing, financial and customer management systems. Previously he was vice president of information systems for healthcare third party administrator EBPHealthplans and vice president of technology for North Central Life Insurance. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospital Administration from Concordia College in Minnesota.

Michurski has 22 years experience in the biomedical and health care industry. He was most recently a principal in a consulting business focused on pharmaceutical strategies for managed care organizations and pharmaceutical companies. While division president at ValueRx, he was instrumental in the acquisition and successful integration of several health care businesses. In addition to purchasing $2 billion in pharmaceuticals, he was responsible for sales and marketing, clinical programs, and mail service operations for the pharmaceutical segment, its fastest growing and most profitable unit. His extensive healthcare experience includes executive positions at United Healthcare and Diversified Pharmaceutical Services.
