Curative Health Services Appoints New CIO.

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 22, 2003

Curative Health Services, Inc., (Nasdaq: CURE), announced today the appointment of Anne Bruce as its Chief Information Officer. Ms. Bruce will manage the implementation of the Company's IT strategy as well as the alignment of Curative's information technology operations under one common platform throughout the organization.

In her new position, Ms. Bruce will report directly to Mr. Feshbach and will have overall responsibility for all aspects of the Company's information technology organization including supporting pharmacy, sales and marketing operations.

Ms Bruce brings 19 years of experience in information technology, starting her career as a Systems Engineer for Electronic Data Systems in 1984. She has held senior management positions at IBM, EDS, Ernst & Young and eLoyalty since 1989. She has extensive experience implementing IT strategy and solutions with clients in the Healthcare, Hi-Tech Manufacturing, Aerospace and Automotive industries. Anne's career in IT spans the management of a global IT divestiture; Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) implementation programs; management of full scale IT outsourcing; large scale mission critical application development projects and enterprise infrastructures.

Anne holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.
