Jeff Zack to Lead Federal Government Expansion Efforts, Rick Wheeler to Oversee Vertical Programs and Strategy

HERNDON, Va. -- CAram Software, the leading provider of Social Enterprise Management (SEM) software solutions, today announced the appointment of Jeff Zack as vice president of U.S. Federal operations and Rick Wheeler as vice president of vertical programs and strategy. The appointment of Zack and Wheeler follow a series of high profile contract wins in the U.S., Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

As a vice president, Zack will oversee Federal operations and the creation of a U.S. federally-focused sales force - a new market for CAram Software. Previously, the company's U.S. sales efforts focused exclusively on providing SEM solutions to state and local government agencies. Prior to joining CAram Software, Zack headed the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) practice for Northrop Grumman Corporation's Information Technology sector. In his role at Northrop Grumman, Zack focused on the sale and delivery of PeopleSoft/Oracle and SAP applications, generating sales in excess of $160 million annually.

As a vice president, Rick Wheeler will head the company's vertical programs and strategy efforts. In this role, Wheeler will further expand and manage the sales and partner activities in CAram's target markets including Workforce Services, Health and Human Services, and Social Security. Prior to joining CAram Software, Wheeler worked at Accenture and served as the Managing Director of the company's Health and Human Services Industry Practice from 2001-2005 and the Government Health Industry Practice from 2005-2006. During his tenure at Accenture, Wheeler worked with the New York City government to implement ACCESS NYC, an integrated human services system based on CAram Software technology. Outside of the office, healthcare experts recognize Wheeler as a contributing author of the book "Healthcare Technology: Steps Toward Developing an Electronic Health Record."
