Cupiagua-4 well flows on test at a daily rate of 11,500 barrels of oil.DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 10, 1995--Triton Energy Corporation announces that its Cupiagua-4 well in the Cupiagua Field in Colombia flowed from selected intervals at a combined daily rate of 11,500 barrels of oil and 43 million cubic feet of natural gas. The well test confirmed the presence of oil and gas in the lower inverted inverted reverse in position, direction or order. inverted L block a pattern of local filtration anesthesia commonly used in laparotomy in the ox. If its API gravity is greater than 10, it is lighter and floats on water; if less than 10, it is heavier and sinks. . The uppermost portion of the well, which includes the Mirador formation, remains untested. "This test proves the presence of hydrocarbons hydrocarbons (hīˈ·drō·kärˑ·b n. much deeper in the Cupiagua Field than we previously encountered," said Al Turner, Triton Senior Vice President, Operations. "The fifth and sixth wells in the field, which are being drilled, should help us further define the depth of the oil column, as well as more fully delineate the field." The Cupiagua-4 well was completed last July and awaits connection to a pipeline system, which soon will be under construction. Early field production from this well, in addition to other Cupiagua wells, should begin late in the first quarter of 1996 through the existing Central Processing Facilities in the nearby Cusiana Field. It was decided to flow test the well after the presence of oil was confirmed in the well at various intervals to a depth of 15,992 feet and a gross oil column of 3,269 feet was found. The well extended the total oil column in the field to 3,671 feet, and no water contact was found. The Cupiagua-4 well is the deepest well drilled to date in either the Cupiagua or the Cusiana Field. Triton holds a 12% interest in the Cupiagua and Cusiana field contract areas.
