Population: 50,000. , Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 21, 1995--The Board of Directors of Cupertino National Bancorp ("CUNB") declared a semi-annual cash dividend of $.10 per share payable on December 15, 1995 to all shareholders of record at the close of business on November 30, 1995. The Board of Directors further declared an annual stock dividend of 10% per share payable on December 15, 1995 to all shareholders of record at the close of business on December 1, 1995. After reviewing the financial condition of CUNB, and Cupertino National Bank, its banking subsidiary ("Bank"), the Board has determined that the continuation of a cash dividend and special stock dividend payment are appropriate to enable the company's shareholders to participate in the earnings and growth of CUNB. Depending on the financial condition of CUNB and the Bank, the Board intends to declare additional dividends in the future, which are expected to be in the range of 10% to 20% of CUNB's earnings and may be paid on a quarterly, semi-annual or annual basis. Cupertino National Bancorp recently reported earnings of $404,000 or $.24 per share for the quarter ending September 30, 1995, compared to earnings of $441,000 or $.27 per share in the same period one year ago.
