The groom is the son of Mrs. Gwendolynn Lee Harrington Barrett of Aberdeen and Mr. John Thompson Barrett, Jr. of Spannaway, Washington. His grandparents are Mr. Lee Hill Harrington and the late Gwendolynn Whitaker Harrington of Aberdeen and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Thompson Barrett.

Program attendants were Rivers Catherine McCaskill, Kristin Lena McMullan, and Susan Spence Puckett.

Following the ceremony, the bride's mother hosted a reception at the Little Rock Club, where the band Recovery provided entertainment.

On the eve On the Eve (Накануне in Russian) is the third novel by famous Russian writer Ivan Turgenev, best known for his short stories and the novel Fathers and Sons.  of the wedding, the mother of the bridegroom honored the couple with a rehearsal dinner at the Country Club of Little Rock. The guests were entertained with music from the band Solid Gold.

After returning from a wedding trip to O'ahu and Maui, the couple is at home in Ridgeland where the bride is a first-grade teacher at Madison Avenue Elementary, and the groom is a salesman for Puckett Rents.
