Cummins Westport Receives National Partner of the Year Award from U.S. Clean Cities Program.

 -- Cummins Westport today announced that it has received the National Partner of the Year Award from the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Clean Cities Program. The award recognizes Cummins Westport's leadership in alternative fuel engine development and deployment.

Cummins Westport was nominated by an independent panel made up of DOE, Clean Cities Program, and industry representation. The mission of the Clean Cities Program is to advance the United States' economic and environmental performance and energy security, by supporting local decisions that contribute to the reduction of petroleum consumption.
