The Cummins ISX engine was chosen as a result of an extensive evaluation conducted by Swift during the past year.

It is expected that more than 2,000 ISX engines will be supplied to Swift during each year of the agreement.

The ISX engine was the first heavy-duty truck engine to be certified and compliant to the 2004 EPA EPA eicosapentaenoic acid.
