Appoints Ravi Venkatesan Vice President- India.Business Editors COLUMBUS, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 28, 2003 Cummins Inc. today announced that Ravi Venkatesan, currently Managing Director - India, has been promoted to Vice President- India. Ravi is responsible for Cummins business in India including the Engine, Power Generation and International Distribution business units. He serves as Chairman and Managing Director of Cummins India Ltd., a publicly-listed company of which Cummins owns 51%, and its subsidiaries including Cummins Diesel Sales and Service. He is also Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Tata Cummins Ltd., a 50/50 joint venture with Tata Engineering (Telco). In addition, he has a critical role as advisor to other Cummins companies operating in India including Fleetguard, Holset and Newage.
