 and related gas compression applications.

The GTA8.3SLB engine utilizes many of the same extremely durable internal components such as the block, crankshaft, camshaft and connecting rods used in Cummins C Series diesel engines. This parts commonality provides a distinct advantage for the operator in terms of the proven reliability and long life of the components, familiar servicing and parts availability.

Reliability of the GTA8.3SLB is further enhanced through the use of Cummins air/fuel ratio control, an Altronic CD200 electronic ignition and Woodward electronic governor. Moreover, through Cummins expertise in controlling the combustion process, the GTA8.3SLB meets the 2-gram engine-out level without the use of detonation sensors. And with the addition of an oxidation catalyst, the GTA8.3SLB is able to meet regional emissions standards, such as the State of Pennsylvania, where lower CO regulations are applicable.
