TakeOff 2006, England's leading festival of professional theatre for children and young people, is taking place in Gateshead from October 10-14. The Castle Players are performing Twelfth Night Twelfth Night, Jan. 5, the vigil or eve of Epiphany, so called because it is the 12th night from Christmas, counting Christmas as the first. In England, Twelfth Night has been a great festival marking the end of the Christmas season, and popular masquerading parties  in the grounds of the Bowes Museum The Bowes Museum has a nationally renowned art collection and is situated in the town of Barnard Castle, Teesdale, County Durham, England.

The museum contains an El Greco, paintings by Goya, Canaletto, Boucher, Fragonard and a sizable collection of decorative art, ceramics,
