In England, Twelfth Night has been a great festival marking the end of the Christmas season, and popular masquerading parties in the grounds of the Bowes Museum The Bowes Museum has a nationally renowned art collection and is situated in the town of Barnard Castle, Teesdale, County Durham, England. The museum contains an El Greco, paintings by Goya, Canaletto, Boucher, Fragonard and a sizable collection of decorative art, ceramics, , Barnard Bar·nard , Christiaan Neethling 1923-2001.
