Beamish Museum Beamish, The North of England Open Air Museum is an open air museum located near the town of Stanley, County Durham, England. Beamish tries to show what life was like in a typical northern town in the early 20th century — much of the restoration and interpretation is  is looking for sponsors for next summer's historic events programme.

Stretching from April to October, the schedule sees crowd-drawing events happening most weekends ( often attracting around 3,000 people to the Museum.

The events include traditional community gatherings, re-enacting how they would have been in 1913 ( May Day and Harvest Home harvest home

BALTIC has appointed a new director of communications Director of Communications is a position in the private and public sectors.
