Culture minister tours homes saved from demolition.


CULTURE minister Andy Burnham later toured Anfield and Breckfield as part of an "Ordinary Landscapes, Special Places" visit.

Executives from English Heritage English Heritage is a non-departmental public body of the United Kingdom government (Department for Culture, Media and Sport) with a broad remit of managing the historic environment of England. It was set up under the terms of the National Heritage Act 1983.  took Mr Burnham on a guided tour of the area, which included a chance to witness work that had been completed by the Affordable Housing Development Company.

Thanks to the unique private investment scheme from ADHC ADHC Adult Day Health Care , a row of Victorian terraced houses located in Tancred Road were saved from demolition and restored to their former glory.

Properties had been uninhabitable, but now they are back on the market for between pounds 140,000 and pounds 150,000.
