Cult music hero rockin' all over the world.A MUSICIAN who spent 30 years spectacularly failing to become a household name is launching a world tour by hiring an aircraft and packing it with 300 fans. John Otway John Otway, (born 2 October 1952, in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England) is a self-confessed unsuccessful singer-songwriter, who built a large cult audience through unrelenting touring, a surreal sense of humour and a winning underdog personality. , who subtitled his autobiography Rock And Roll's Greatest Failure, will set off on his "Ot-Air" Airbus A340 to play some of the world's greatest venues. And the singer will start at perhaps the world's most famous - the Cavern in Liverpool before leaving John Lennon Noun 1.
