Culinary Software Services has released Version released version - release  6 of its award-winning ChefTec software. Version 6 is a comprehensive software upgrade, bringing many additions to ease the workload of chefs and foodservice operators.

The enhancements and new features in the recipe and menu costing area make it even easier to organize and develop recipes and menus. A powerful new search capability has been added which allows the use of multiple search criteria. This feature was developed in response to customers requiring sophisticated ways of searching thousands of recipes in the process of menu planning and development. Two other features, which considerably speed up the data entry of recipes, are the use of "Memory Lists" and the automatic calculation of a recipe yield. Menus using multiple recipes can be set up at the touch of a button.

Another major feature in Version 6 is the ability to enter and maintain HACCP HACCP
