Fiscal 2006 Year to Date Results

Revenue for the first three quarters of fiscal 2006 increased $15,194,000 from $34,120,000 to $49,314,000, a 44.5% increase compared to the first three quarters of fiscal 2005, due to stronger sales in all sales channels. In the United States, U.S. Military sales rose by 195.2%, due to the increased demand from the U.S. Army. For the first three quarters of fiscal 2006, Retail sales grew 56.6% as a result of increased sales to existing customers in both deli and company branded packaged goods. National Restaurant Chain (NRC) / New Business sales increased 68.3%, primarily due to increased effort on promoting NRC business. For the first three quarters of fiscal 2006, On Board Services in France rose 78.4% primarily due to new airline customers in Europe Europe (yr`əp), 6th largest continent, c.4,000,000 sq mi (10,360,000 sq km) including adjacent islands (1992 est. pop. 512,000,000).  and the placement of additional items on existing first and business class menus.

For the first three quarters of fiscal 2006, the Company reported net income from continuing operations of $2,968,000, compared to $1,323,000 for the first three quarters of fiscal 2005. The 124.3% increase in net income from continuing operations was primarily due to a 44.5% increase in sales and a 46.4% increase in gross margin, as a result of the higher sales and the corresponding production and procurement efficiencies achieved. Net earnings per share from continuing operations were $.18 for the first three quarters of fiscal 2006 compared to $.08 for the same three quarters last year.
