:CUB), has designed the first smart card reader capable of processing three types of contactless smart cards, an innovation that will facilitate the mass transit mass transit, public transportation systems designed to move large numbers of passengers. Types and Advantages

The Tri-Reader also supports multiple Security Application Modules (SAMs which will allow transit fare payment equipment to support other applications beyond transit, such as electronic purse.
