Stock certificates will be distributed on April 30, 2002 to shareholders of record today, April 17, 2002.

"The stock split, the fifth in Cubic's 51-year history, is expected to enhance the potential for broader ownership of our stock and improve liquidity," said Cubic Chief Financial Officer William Boyle.

After the distribution, there will be approximately 26.7 million shares of Cubic common stock outstanding.
