Cubic Receives Contract to Compete for Wide Range of U.S. Army Force Management Services.SAN DIEGO -- A defense unit of Cubic Corporation (AMEX AMEX See: American Stock Exchange :CUB) is one of three awardees selected by the Department of Defense to compete for force management services contracts in the U.S. and abroad. Following the award of a federal Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ ID/IQ Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity ID/IQ Indefinite Duration/Indefinite Quantity ) contract, Cubic is eligible to bid for DoD task orders for a wide range of support services for diverse government agencies under the U.S. Army Force Management Services Support program. The contract term is one base year and four one-year option years. The Army G3, Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations and Plans, is the executive agent for the contract, which is available to all DoD and federal agencies. The total amount of work funded under the ID/IQ is at the DoD's discretion.
