The study group was created by the NATO Industrial Advisory Group (NIAG), a forum for discussing defense industry issues that affect NATO nations. It will examine national differences in Autonomous Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (AACMI AACMI Autonomous Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation system ) systems which currently make it difficult for NATO nations to organize combined combat training exercises. The study group will consist of approximately 27 experts from 17 companies. Cubic will provide three of the 27 experts.

Fisch was invited to NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, last February to speak to NATO's AACMI working group on the interoperability issue.

"Cubic is an expert on AACMI systems," Fisch said. "We have already deployed our Air Combat Training -- Rangeless (ACT-R ACT-R Adaptive Character of Thought- Rational

Cubic's Defense Group provides instrumented training systems, data links, avionics systems, product logistical support, battle command training, radio communications systems, and field service operation and maintenance.
