Cubic Communications acquires direction-finding product line.SAN DIEGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 12, 1995--Cubic Communications Inc. has acquired the direction-finding product-line assets of Ocean Applied Research (OAR) Corp. for an undisclosed amount of cash, it was announced Thursday by Sam F. OAR is a 27-year-old San Diego-based producer of radio direction- finding products sold to military and commercial customers around the world, Arn explained. Under terms of the sale, CCI has purchased the rights to the name ``Ocean Applied Research'' and the acronym acronym: see abbreviation.
