Cube Route Appoints Alex Walker as CEO.

TORONTO -- Cube Route, a provider of on demand logistics services, today announced that Alex Walker has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, and will also join the Cube Route board of directors. Mr. Walker has more than ten years of C-level experience guiding the operations for software, services and manufacturing businesses. He has also served at the board level for several technology and service related businesses.

During his career, Mr. Walker has guided both early stage and mature private and public companies. He has raised over $200 million in capital for North American companies through private placements and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to his appointment at Cube Route, Mr. Walker served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with Abridean, an enterprise software company specializing in user management and provisioning. Under his leadership, the company secured several rounds of venture financing and made its foray into the US market.

Prior to working in Canada, Mr. Walker led mergers and acquisitions activities for Divine Interventures, a public technology company consolidator based in Chicago. During his tenure at Divine, he was responsible for over 30 public and private company transactions. He has also served as CFO for two large manufacturing companies in Chicago. Mr. Walker has an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BScE in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University.
