Cub Foods to Host Free Halloween Parties at All Stores.

STILLWATER, Minn. -- Cub Stores Will Host Cub4Kids Trick or Treat Event Oct. 27

On Oct. 27, Cub Foods stores will host kids and their families for a safe night of Halloween fun with its Cub4Kids Trick or Treat event. From 5 to 7 p.m., all 52 Cub stores will make Halloween less tricky with neighborhood Halloween parties complete with costumes, candy, games and treats for the first 200 kids to come into each store.

The event will give everyone at Cub Foods the opportunity to enjoy Halloween in a safe, neighborhood environment. As part of the celebration, each trick-or-treater will receive a mini-pumpkin and other treats and goodies from departments throughout the store. Trick-or-treaters also are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes.

"We are thrilled to provide a neighborhood Halloween party that is safe as well as fun for everyone," said Brian Huff, president, Cub Foods. "Each of our stores is adding their own special touch to create a family-friendly evening that will be enjoyable for shoppers and employees alike."

The celebration will include games that the entire family can enjoy, such as cookie stacking contests and apple tosses. All participants will receive prizes such as caramel apples, apple juice or Halloween stickers and pencils.
