Cuadra Associates Debuts Internet Web Site; Interactive Site Created with Company's Own STAR Web Interface to Show Power and Flexibility of Information Management and Retrieval Software.


LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 6, 1996--Using their own STAR Web Interface and the STAR Server engine, the employees of Cuadra Associates have created a fast, easy-to-use, and fully interactive Web site.

The site, http://www.cuadra.com, permits prospective users to see for themselves the speed and power of the STAR suite of tools by hands-on use. Reflecting the broad international use and versatility of the STAR system, visitors even have the choice of interacting with the site in any of five languages.

Cuadra Associates' STAR family of products are award-winning multi-user, multi-purpose packages with the power and flexibility to manage information collection, management, and retrieval across organizations. Without STAR, coping with The Coping With series of books is a series of books aimed at 11-16 year olds, written by Peter Corey and published by Scholastic Hippo. The first book, Coping with Parents, was released in 1989, and the series continued until the last book, Coping with Cash  the vast amounts of data created, acquired, or needed by modern organizations is a truly daunting daunt

 task. Cuadra Associates' STAR suite of products save, manage, and find data regardless of the number of databases or the amount of data involved.

In addition to descriptions of the product, company, and users and their uses, the site provides demonstration interfaces and access to a variety of actual STAR databases contributed by Cuadra customers. The site also provides links to STAR-based databases elsewhere on the Internet.

Users are encouraged to take advantage of the sophisticated STAR search features to do their own searches of the databases. Visitors to the site may also visit with a number of STAR users and learn how they solved major information management problems and increased productivity using STAR.

The STAR Web interface makes it possible to provide fully interactive access to STAR databases on the Internet or on Intranets, using standard Web browsers. The interface offers users much faster and more direct access to the information on the databases than they would get by "clicking through" menus to search for an HTML HTML
