Crystal methamphetamine valued at $500,000 seized in raid.

Federal agents seized 26 pounds of uncut crystal methamphetamine with an estimated street value of $500,000 last week and arrested a man on suspicion of meth meth

Authorities conducted raids last Wednesday at a home at 39690 Little Fall Creek Fall Creek is the name of several places in the United States:
  • Fall Creek, Wisconsin, a town
  • Fall Creek neighborhood in Ithaca, New York
  • Fall Creek, a stream in New York
  • Fall Creek, a stream in Indiana
  • Fall Creek, Oregon, a town
 Road outside Fall Creek, at an industrial shop at 90785 Link Drive in northwest Eugene and a storage unit on Highway 126 in Veneta.

News of the raids was disclosed Monday in a news release from the U.S. Marshal's Service.

Marshals arrested Christopher M. Wright, 32, subject of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) was established in 1973 by President richard m. nixon as part of the Justice Department, thus uniting a number of federal drug agencies that had often worked at cross-purposes.  in Washington, Oregon and Utah for alleged involvement in the manufacture and distribution of methamphetamine. He's also wanted by the Salt Lake Sheriff's Office on a drug-related charges.

Wright assumed the name of Scott Allen Scott Ethan Allen (born February 8, 1949 in Newark, NJ) was an American figure skater. He won the gold medal at the U.S. Figure Skating Championships twice and won a bronze medal at the 1964 Winter Olympics two days before his 15th birthday, becoming the youngest medalist at the  McCoy, an identity theft victim, prompting the Social Security Administration to investigate and obtain search and arrest warrants.

On Wednesday, federal agents from the Marshal's Service, DEA DEA - Data Encryption Algorithm  and Social Security Administration raided Wright's home in Fall Creek and his shop in Eugene. Because of Wright's criminal history, possession of weapons, the presence of other known felons and attack dogs, the Marshal's Service used its special response team and an Oregon National Guard light armored vehicle in the raid.

They arrested Wright at his home and seized two handguns and $11,000 cash. At the industrial shop, they recovered three firearms This is an extensive list of small arms — pistol, machine gun, grenade launcher, anti-tank rifle — that includes variants.

Based on evidence and interviews from the original search warrants, investigators obtained a third search warrant for the storage unit in Veneta. There they seized several hundred pounds of precursor chemicals Compounds that are required in the synthetic or extraction processes of drug production, and become incorporated into the drug molecule. Not used in the production of cocaine or heroin.  for meth production, equipment, cutting agents, 26 pounds of crystal meth, $23,000 cash and more than 20 stolen pieces of identification.

Because of the quantities of contraband contraband, in international law, goods necessary or useful in the prosecution of war that a belligerent may lawfully seize from a neutral who is attempting to deliver them to the enemy.  recovered, DEA officials classified the site as a "super lab."

"A seizure of this size is extraordinary," DEA agent Rodney Benson said in a statement.

The 26 pounds of uncut meth would likely have been converted to several hundred pounds of street drugs with the addition of cutting agents, said deputy U.S. Marshal Eric Wahlstrom.

The Lane County sheriff's office and the Eugene Police Department's Special Investigations Unit also were involved in the investigation. Additional arrests are expected.
