Crystal IT Forges America's Relationship with Middle East to Fight Common Threat: Data Loss.

PHOENIX & UAE -- Following nearly a month-long series of meetings with officials, companies and individuals in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Bahrain, the executive team of Crystal IT (www.crystalit.us) announces expansion of the company's corporate footprint to the Middle East. "Over the last several years, the Middle East has been increasingly interested in seeking new technologies to combat this ever- increasing, sophisticated threat. Worldwide, Kloecker says that the estimated $1 trillion cost of data loss in 2008 is only the beginning, and at this time, nobody knows the true extent of the problem.

"A significant number of corporations are not even aware that they have been the victim of a data breach," he continues. Beyond solidifying a business partner, Crystal IT will be establishing a local office in the United Arab Emirates by June 2009, utilizing local residents with the knowledge of local customs and culture to effectively bring Crystal IT's CDLS to the region. Management expects the roll-out to begin with the GCC Countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and UAE), with follow-on expansion to the greater Middle East/North African region (MENA).

Bill Bujake, president, cites a recent industry report that indicates that the GCC countries will spend an estimated US$80+ billion on information technology by 2012, and that the IT spend on security will continue to be a growing component of that figure. Crystal IT is currently looking to add four or five offices in other strategic global locations outside of North America, and anticipates that these offices will be operational within the next several months.
