Crystal Geyser speeds expansion of facility

Crystal Geyser Roxane has announced plans to triple production with a $3-million expansion at the company's new alpine spring water facility in the High Sierra near Mt. Whitney, CA.

"There is no doubt that bottled water is the fastest growing segment in the beverage market, but we have been absolutely astounded at the response our new Crystal Geyser alpine spring water has received," said Crystal Geyser chief executive officer Peter Gordon.

The expansion process was originally targeted for the winter of 1992/93, and will include an additional 20,000 square feet of bottling equipment and storage facilities. The original facility was completed this past June for approximately $6 million, according to Gordon.
