The company's Cryo-Accurizing Division was awarded a patent in 1999 for processing firearms with the deep cryogenic process.

Separately, the company announced the appointment of Jeffrey Taylor as vice president of sales. He will be responsible for forging new customer relationships and ultimately increasing Cryocon top-line growth.
