Crusaders planning to outwit Skolars.


Celtic Crusaders The Celtic Crusaders are a rugby league club based in Bridgend, Wales, United Kingdom. For the Bridgend-based Crusaders opened their season's account in impressive fashion last week with a 50-10 demolition of Hemel Hempstead Stags.

But the Welsh outfit are taking nothing for granted this time round against a Skolars side who were 26-6 winners over St Albans Centurions.

While the Stags play in National League Three, the division below the Crusaders, the Skolars are fellow National League Two rivals.

'We've no doubt that this will be a stiffer test and a truer reflection of our abilities,' said the Crusaders' strength and fitness coach, Anthony Seibold.

'But we've trained hard and last week's game was a morale booster Noun 1. morale booster - anything that serves to increase morale; "the sight of flowers every morning was my morale builder"

'Like last week, we're all looking forward to it.'

 Michael Ryan coming in as captain and hooker for the injured Matt Jobson,

while ex-Bridgend Blue Bulls and Bridgend Ravens centre Dean Fitzgerald replaces Lloyd O'Connor, who has a stomach bug.
