The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Crump of Pittsboro. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Macon LaFoe Sr. of Monroe, Louisiana. Rev. Michael Waldrop officiated at the candlelight ceremony.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore a gown of ivory satin, designed by Casablanca, which featured a strapless strap·less

Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at the Pine Hills Country Club. After the reception, guests held lighted sparklers as the bride and groom made their way to the stretch Hummer waiting to whisk them away for a seven-day honeymoon at the Sandals Resort in St. Lucia.
