Crump Group Announces New President for Life Insurance Services Division and New Corporate CFO.


ROSELAND, N.J. -- Crump Group, Inc. announced today that Brian Winikoff has been named president of its life insurance services division and that Dave Obenauer has replaced Winikoff as chief financial officer of Crump Group, Inc. Most recently, Winikoff served as chief financial officer of Crump Group, Inc., the industry leading independent wholesale insurance distribution and retirement services organization formed by a combination of Crump Insurance and the retirement, commercial and life insurance divisions of the former BISYS Group. Winikoff joined the former BISYS Group in 2002 as a vice president of finance in its corporate office and then served as senior vice president and head of finance of its life insurance services division, prior to assuming the role of CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  of the Crump Group, Inc.

Obenauer joins Crump from Marsh Inc., where he spent the past seven years in a number of roles with increasing responsibility, serving most recently as chief financial officer of Marsh Americas, where he was a key contributor to the development and implementation of the company's turn-around efforts. During his tenure at Marsh, Obenauer was also chief administrative officer A chief administrative officer (CAO) is responsible for administrative management of private, public or governmental corporations. The CAO is one of the highest ranking members of an organization, managing daily operations and usually reporting directly to the chief executive  for the company's wholesale brokerage and underwriting management operations, which at the time, included Crump Insurance. He began his insurance industry career with United Educators Insurance in Chevy Chase, Maryland Chevy Chase is the name of both a town and an unincorporated Census-Designated Place (CDP) in Montgomery County, Maryland. In addition, a number of villages in the same area of Montgomery County include "Chevy Chase" in their names. , moving through the ranks over more than a decade to become its chief financial officer. In this capacity, Obenauer also led the company's corporate development, business planning and technology efforts.
