Instead a judge gave her a nine-month suspended sentence A sentence given after the formal conviction of a crime that the convicted person is not required to serve. In criminal cases a trial judge has the ability to suspend the sentence of a convicted person. because of her relationship with the two girls, aged eight and nine. Northampton crown court heard teachers raised the alarm after noticing the girls hungry and unkempt. Both were then found to have bruising bruising discoloration and actual hemorrhage at the site of injury, and a serious disadvantage in the meat trade. In the first 12 hours after injury the bruise is bright red, at 24 hours it is dark red, at 24 to 36 hours it loses its firm consistency and becomes watery and at 3 or from being smacked with "moderate to severe" force by their mum's boyfriend, the court heard. Police later found evidence of cannibis use at the family home, but not a single toy. The mum, 32, was also given a 12-month supervision order after admitting child cruelty and assault.
