Crude steel production estimated at 95 mil. tons for FY 2002.


TOKYO, Sept. 19 Kyodo

Japan's crude steel production will likely total 95 million tons for fiscal 2002 beginning April 1, down 4 million tons from an estimated 99 million tons for fiscal 2001, the chairman of the Japan Iron and Steel Federation said Wednesday Wednesday: see week. .
