Croxton the hero for Dock; East's hopes go west as leaders Waterloo surge eight points clear.

LEADERS and Champions Waterloo Dock beat East Villa 4-3 in the Premier Division.

Waterloo took the lead through Mike Lundon and Leighton McGivern Leighton McGivern (born June 2 1984 in Liverpool, England) is a footballer currently playing for Accrington Stanley. He has previously played for Rochdale and Vauxhall Motors.  only for Kevin Burke Kevin Burke is an Irish fiddler. He was born in London to parents from County Sligo in 1950. He took up the fiddle at age eight, eventually acquiring a virtuosic technique in the Sligo fiddling style.  to score for Villa on half time to make it 2-1.The second half saw another goal from McGivern to make it 3-1 but Villa levelled through Lee Pegram and Franny McIntosh.

James Croxton scored the winner to see The Dock go eight points clear at the top with a game in hand.

In the only other league game South Liverpool were beaten 5-0 by Old Xaverian's who scored through a Carl Gargan hat trick plus strikes from Simon Grant and John Stein.

Essemmay had a 3-1 win at home to Roma in division one, with Carl Morris, Colin McKnight and Steven Parle on the mark while Dave Cooney scored for Roma.

Copperas Hill enjoyed a 1-0 win over Warbreck as Mark Styles got the vital strike and East Villa Res beat Old Holts 4-3.BRNESC recorded a 6-4 win at Collegiate OB. Dave Wilson netted a hat trick for BRNESC aided by Grice and Stevens.

Edge Hill secured a 3-2 win over Stoneycroft with aKeith Roberts double and Scott LEAGUE McKie strike.

In the LCFA Challenge Cup third round, St Aloysius beat Page Celtic 4-3and first division Leyfield took premier division Birchfield all the way only to be beaten 4-3 on penalties.

In the Junior Cup, Pinewoods enjoyed a 4-3 away win at Clockface Miners.
